ABOUT US
My students walk into our classroom every day full of excitement, ready to learn, and eager to see what is in store for the day. My students, Educational Assistants, and I have created an environment where we are all able to succeed and feel valued by those in our classroom family. I truly could not ask for a better staff and a group of students with whom to work.
My students are in a self-contained classroom and have significant to profound disabilities. The students in my classroom face many challenges every day due to their limited academic skills, life skills, and ability to communicate with others. Within my classroom, we try to provide the students with multiple opportunities to learn academic skills and how to use them in real life.
